For its 10th anniversary, Zamna is inviting emerging producers onto its Tulum stages for the first time. The New DJ Producer International Contest, created with El Bedroom DJ Academy, one of Mexico’s largest DJ schools, and backed by Universal Xperience, will take three winners to Zamna Tulum 2027, running from December 31, 2026, to January 10, 2027. First place will play the main stage on one of the nights.
The contest is open to DJs and producers from any country. Each entry is a 25-minute set with at least 70% original music. There is no public vote: the ten most-played sets on the contest platform go through to the final, where a jury from the school, the festival and the international DJ scene chooses the winners.
El Bedroom began in a bedroom in Roma Norte, Mexico City. Today it has more than 10,000 certified students and an official Pioneer DJ certification, and its club, where students take their final exam playing live, is now called Zamna Club.
Registration is open until November 30 at elbedroom.zamnafestival.com. The winners will be announced in the first half of December.
